On Halloween Light is a 2D adventure game where you play as the Pumpkin Boy. Perform various lighting tasks around the town to help residents prepare for Halloween night.
This project was for a game design and development class at the Rochester Institute of Technology. This project was the secondary experience for the semester, where we put what we learned from the previous experience to the test.
We started by pitching the experience and then had to develop it in under a month in Unity.
We were constrained to using GitHub, Trello, and Unity for implementation, and the game had to be about Halloween.
Through active collaboration, we quickly put together this concept for a short story game in under a month.
Throughout this project, I was primarily responsible for Trello and GitHub project management, sprint planning, collaborating on game and level design, and developing core systems for my groupmates to use for game and level management, quest indicators, and interactables.
You can play the game in browser here if you want to check it out.
